What is the ABTP Ambassador Program

ABTP Ambassadors are travel professionals that are dedicated to the mission of ABTP by effectively promoting membership and awareness of our programs and services.  By using the official ABTP Ambassadors badge in your company communications and social media pages, ABTP Ambassadors can show their support and engage other travel professionals in the membership experience.  


Qualifications to become an ABTP Ambassador

  • You must be a paid member ABTP. 
  • You must be willing to like, share, and post on social media about our organization.
  • Must be willing to speak to other industry professionals about membership in ABTP and sponsorship of programs and services offered by ABTP. 
  • Must be able to submit one travel supplier reference.  


What is expected of an ABTP Ambassador

The main purpose of the ABTP Ambassador program is help promote and grow awareness of ABTP and our programs and services.  Specific goals for ABTP Ambassadors include:

  • Promoting active membership in ABTP 
  • Expanding and growing our social media reach
  • Acting as a resource to your personal peer group on ABTP programs and services,
  • Serve as a liaison between ABTP members and leadership. 
  • There may be other special projects that we may ask for your help as your time allows.

Becoming an ABTP Ambassador is an opportunity for you to develop your professional skill set through speaking with and building relationships with other travel industry professionals. By displaying the ABTP Ambassador badge on your communications, it helps build your creditability with other industry professionals, as well as your clients.  As an ambassador, you will be among the first agents we reach out to when we need representation from our membership on issues or concerns within our industry. Through your efforts, we will also offer opportunities for you to receive complimentary membership dues and discounts on conference registrations and ABTP merchandise.
